To start interacting with the Atomica Liquidation Markets application (hereinafter "the Pool"), you should have the MetaMask extension installed with some DAI to send to the Pool, and some ETH to pay for transactions on top.
When you first access the Pool, you should connect your account with DAI to it by clicking the Connect wallet button on the main page of Atomica Liquidation Markets. In MetaMask, Main Ethereum Network should be chosen.
Then, you can click MakerDAO Liquidation Market #1 to proceed with adding DAI to the Pool. (Do not have any DAI? Buy it here.)
The following pop-up will appear.
Here, you should set an allowance for the Pool to receive DAI. The allowance can be given by default or customized in MetaMask. Click the Enable button. Then, the MetaMask pop-up will appear.
Having got an allowance set, you can just add some DAI to the Pool by typing its amount in the input field. Alternatively, you can add all your account balance by clicking My wallet balance (amount link).
Then, click the Add button and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.
That's it! Now, you are a token holder of MakerDAO Liquidation Market #1.
When you access the Markets page, and MetaMask with an active account - from which you funded the Pool - is connected, you will see the My pool balance column with your DAI amount in the Pool. When MetaMask is not connected, you will see the total Pool balance instead.
Below is additional information you can find in the pop-up: - A pool size represents actual Pool balance in USD equivalent. - Performance since inception shows the level of the Pool profitability. Basically, it demonstrates how the Pool token rate has changed from base rate 1 token to 1 DAI since the Pool's launch. - See all stats provides a link to the Dashboard with detailed information about the Pool performance and state. - Add liquidity/ withdraw are tabs that enable core users to interact with the Pool through buying or selling Pool tokens. - My wallet balance displays the amount of DAI on your account connected to the Pool. You can add all the balance to the Pool by clicking the My wallet balance (amount link). - Receive displays the amount of pool tokens you receive for a submitted DAI amount in accordance with the current token rate. - My pool share displays the actual share of your Pool tokens in all the outstanding Pool tokens (in circulation). When some DAI amount is entered in the input field, the shift from the current to the future state is displayed. - My pool balance displays your actual token balance in the Pool.
To withdraw DAI previously funded to the Pool, you should access the Markets page by clicking MakerDAO Liquidation Market #1 and selecting the Withdraw tab in the pop-up window.
Then, you specify an amount of the Pool tokens you would like to withdraw in the input field, click the Withdraw button, and confirm the transaction in the MetaMask pop-up window.
The functionality of other pop-up elements is described in the Adding DAI to Atomica Liquidation Markets section.
Note: A delayed withdrawal is possible. In case the total Pool balance is used for active auctions, and/or an active withdrawal queue is not processed yet, you may be asked to continue with the withdrawal queue. This means your withdrawal request will be added to the queue and processed when there is enough DAI in the Pool to pay for your tokens.
To see the available statistical data about the Pool, you should access the Dashboard page.
You can access the following statistics: - A pool Balance illustrates an actual Pool balance in DAI. - Earned since inception displays the total cumulative financial result of all the auctions participated. - Pool participants reveal the amount of token holder account addresses. - Pool performance demonstrates relative profitability of the Pool in percent for the last day, week, month, or for the total period since the Pool launch. - Auctions participated displays the number of auctions the Pool bidded with its DAI in. - Auctions won displays the number of auctions the Pool has won. - Avg discount rate is an average cumulative discount to the market price of the won lot, considering the effective price paid to win the lot at the moment of each auction. - Active/ Finished are the tabs to switch between lists of auctions - currently taking place (if any) and those that ended up. - ID is an identification number for each auction. - Paid Price is an actual price of the last bid in the auction for a single unit of the lot. - Discount Rate is a relative amount in percent that illustrates to which extent the paid price is lower than the market price at the time of the last bid. - Timestamp of the last bid in the auction. - Transaction Hash of the last bid in the auction.
